STUDENT TESTIMONIAL

“The Guatemala trip was an eye-opening and grounding experience. The indigenous people live in the most simplistic conditions, yet they are still happy and proud. The most valuable part for me was the relationships I made with the community members. All of the women and men were genuinely welcoming, and the children’s excitement and admiration was heartwarming. This experience was also very inspiring for me; I would like to do my part to make a difference by starting a non-profit organization at Rutgers.”
